"What Faith Can Do" worship song from Kutless from the new worship album.

The band Kutless began in 2002. They are rapidly climbing the charts.Their new album It Is Well and single What Faith Can Do is now #2 on the Billboard Christian charts.

Kutless is a Christian rock band that formed in Portland, Oregon as a Worship band named Call Box in 2000. They changed their name to "Kutless" before releasing their first three track extended play CD and first full-length Christian music album in 2002.

The name Kutless was chosen based on The Bible verse Romans 6:23, " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." (NIV) The band explained that because of this, Christ took the cuts for everyone, leaving all who accept Kutless.

What Faith Can Do

This past October, Kutless released their second worship album and sixth full length album. It Is Well is already a chart topper. The first single off that album is entitled, What Faith Can Do.

It has become an inspirational banner song for anyone who has been struggling with major battles or life issues. It has been a huge success. The album itself debuted at #2 on Billboard's Hot Christian Albums chart and #42 on the Billboard Top 200. What Faith Can Do continues to climb the charts. It currently is #2 on the Billboard Christian Singles chart right under the #1 position held by TobyMac with City On Our Knees.

What Faith Can Do reminds believers that God is always here. Never forget that. In times of great happiness or great struggle, He remains faithful. Remain faithful to Him. Turn to Him and believe that nothing is impossible with God. That's what faith can do.

Announcement of the 2010 Youth Conference

Dear friends and members of Fly High Ministry, here is the newest information about PFKK(BM) Youth Conference 2010!

At first we would like to address those of you, who would like to participate in the conference actively.

We, the Fly High band will be playing in one of the night together with SIB and Maranatha Church.

Other than that, We need ushers to help us on that day. Please notify us by May 1, 2010 if you would like to volunteer yourself.

Every idea is welcome. It would be perfect to make your contribution as a church, but it is not a condition. After announcement and approval you can work on your contribution till about end of May.

And we need also some people who would like to help us to find the sponsors. Please let us know if you could help us with this.

1. To find the best talented TV presenter for professional TV broadcasting

RULES AND REGULATIONS (Syarat-syarat dan Peraturan):

1. This audition is open to any interested individual with pleasant personality.

(Pertandingan ini terbuka kepada sesiapa individu berperwatakan menarik yang berminat)

2. It is compulsory for those who want to participate in this audition to register for the conference first before they can register themselves for this audition.

(Bagi mereka yang ingin menyertai uji bakat ini, mereka wajib mendaftarkan diri mereka untuk konferensi ini sebelum mereka boleh mendaftarkan diri mereka untuk uji bakat ini)

3. Participants will be required to host a programme which will be determined by the organiser during the audition to be assessed by the judges.

4. Any obscene elements and materials, immoral style and character, or perfomance that touches sensitive issues such as politics or religion will cause the participation of the respective band to be terminated automatically.

JUDGING FORMAT (Format Penghakiman):

1. The panel of judges is consist of those who have high knowledge in TV broadcasting industry.

2. All of the participation form must be neatly filled with complete details. Any illegible or incomplete form may result in non-registration. Photocopies of form are accepted

(Semua borang penyertaan hendaklah diisi kemas dengan butiran yang lengkap. Sebarang borang yang tidak dapat dibaca atau tidak lengkap akan mengakibatkan penyertaan ditolak. Borang fotostat adalah diterima)

3. Those successful participants will have the chance to be featured on TV as a professional TV presenter, and will also receive mystery prize from the organiser.

4. The decision made by judges are definitive and irrevocable. Any types of appeal will not be entertained.

OBJECTIVE

1. To find the best band for professional stage perfomance.

(Untuk mencari kumpulan muzik terbaik khusus untuk persembahan pentas profesional)

RULES AND REGULATIONS (Syarat-syarat dan Peraturan)

1. This audition is open to any interested band.

(Pertandingan ini terbuka kepada semua kumpulan yang berminat)

2. It is compulsory for all of the band members to register for the conference first before they can register their band for this audition.

(Semua ahli kumpulan wajib mendaftarkan diri mereka untuk konferensi ini sebelum mereka boleh mendaftarkan kumpulan mereka untuk uji bakat ini)

3. Each band must consist of minimum 3 members and maximum 7 members.

(Setiap kumpulan haruslah diwakili oleh sekurang-kurangnya 3 orang dan tidak melebihi 7 orang)

4. One of the songs must be chosen from the list of songs that has been given by the organiser. Another song will be the band’s own selection.

(Salah satu daripada lagu yang dipersembahkan mestilah dipilih daripada senarai lagu-lagu yang telah diberikan oleh pihak penganjur sahaja. Sebuah lagu lagi merupakan lagu pilihan
sendiri kumpulan tersebut)

5. Each band must prepare 2 music presentation which not exceed 3 minutes for each presentation. It will be the disadvantages for any band who perform exceeding the time limit.

(Setiap kumpulan haruslah menyediakan 2 persembahan muzik yang tidak melebihi 3 minit bagi setiap satu persembahan. Adalah menjadi suatu kekurangan bagi kumpulan yang membuat persembahan melebihi had masa)

6. Any obscene elements and materials, immoral style and character, or perfomance that touches sensitive issues such as politics or religion will cause the participation of the respective band to be terminated automatically.

7. Programmed music are permissible upon approval by the organiser.

8. If any of the band members are founded under the influence of alcohols or/and drugs during the audition, the participation of the respective band will be terminated automatically.

9. Band members are allowed to join 1 band only. If there’s any band members that joining more than 1 band, the participation of both respective bands will be terminated automatically.

AMAR SINGH s/o CHANDRAN SINGH

Occupation : English Teacher

The Lord called Amar to work among the students in Kudat since 1995.In 1999, he started Agape Christian Fellowship. Through the CF they conducted two meetings every week, Saturday and Sunday for discipleship classes. More than 100 students attend both meetings.

In January 2004, the Lord led Him to start a home for underprivileged students. This home is called Immanuel House. Today they are 4 Immanuel homes with 73 students. There are 2 homes for boys and 2 other homes for girls.

The main purpose for the homes is to provide a conducive, clean, safe environment to study with continuous motivation and enough basic facilities such as libraries and computers to help them excel in their academics and eventually come out from the circle of poverty. By doing so, they will be able to impact and transform their families and community in return.

They also ground them in word of God and teach them to have a strong prayer life.

Today, there are 33 students from Immanuel homes doing various certificate, diploma and degree program in various colleges and universities.

In 2008, another 2 Immanuel homes were opened in Shah Alam and one more will be open in Kota Kinabalu soon.

Jonathan Tse is crazy about music. He spends nearly everyday writing, playing, singing and making music. Being young, he is very passionate about things like Facebook, MSN, Wikipedia and anything to do with computers but surprisingly not really into computer games.

After serving as a pastor in an Anglican church in KK, he joined the Alpha team and began inspiring other churches and pastors on evangelism today. Jon loves what he does (music & teaching) and gives 100% time to what he loves.
